SACRAMENTO--RCA Research today announced that it had signed an Asset Purchase Agreement with The Judge Group to acquire certain assets of Judge Research via a private transaction for an undisclosed cash purchase price.

Judge Research is a global, project-based business unit of The Judge Group, formed in January 2006, and led by its executives, Daniel Rhodes and Michael Ruchman. Rhodes and Ruchman had previously founded another multi-million dollar professional services firm that The Judge Group had acquired in late 2005. As material to this transaction, Rhodes and Ruchman will be joining RCA Research to lead all sales management, marketing, and operational responsibilities.

Commenting on the transaction, Daniel Rhodes, RCA Research’s Senior Vice President, stated, “Our forward strategy of combining our legacy Life Sciences FDA compliance practice with a newly formed Environmental, Green Technology and Energy consulting division, will undoubtedly capitalize on the ever-increasing market need for professional services targeted towards environmentally sustainable solutions. This acquisition provides us with a scalable platform to offer a wider variety of services to our existing client base of multi-national pharmaceutical, Oil & Gas, and Engineering Services firms throughout the globe."
